AMI 2026-2027 Back-to-School Information

Back-to-school information for Alma Martinez Intermediate School has been released for the upcoming school term. Please refer to the sections below for the latest information. Updates will be made as needed, so check back often!

Registration Information

New Student Enrollment for the 2026-2027 school term begins online on May 4, 2026. Students who are new to the district must start the enrollment process online. After completing the online portion, you will be contacted to complete any other steps necessary. 

Returning Student Enrollment for the 2026-2027 school term begins in July 2026. An email will be sent to current families when enrollment officially opens.

Proof of Residency

Before school starts in August, all new students to Mansfield ISD and all returning students shall present proof of residency (POR). Returning students may provide POR with service dates beginning in May or later. Please Note: If the POR does not reflect a service date in May or later, the POR will not be accepted & a new POR will need to be submitted. No additional POR will be required at the start of school in August.

You may take your proof of residence to your student’s 2026-20267 campus office; or
You may email your proof of residence with your student’s first & last name and student ID number to your student’s 2026-2027 campus at: Martinez_POR@misdmail.org. Satisfactory proof of residence includes: Electric, Gas, or Water Bill – with May 2026 service dates or later. For more details, click here.

Class Schedules

Class schedules can be picked up at Schedule Pick Up. 

5th Grade Schedule Pick-Up (STEM, Fine Arts Academy & Comprehensive): Aug 6th from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm

6th Grade Schedule Pick-Up (STEM, Fine Arts Academy & Comprehensive): Aug 7th from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm

Schedule Pick-Up is a come-and-go in the main office. As long as you have completed returning or new student registration and provided your proof of residency, you can stop by the main office and pick up your child's class schedule at the time that's most convenient for you. 

If you are unavailable to attend Schedule Pick Up, schedules will be available on Skyward the evening of TBA. 

Meet the Teacher Night

We will have a Meet the Teacher event for our Navigator families on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2026 from 5:30-7:00 pm.

Bus Transportation

Bus routes for the 2026-2027 school year will be created this summer and can be located here. Use the Find My Bus link to locate the correct bus stop assigned to your student. Academy students needing a bus will be given information later. 

Quest

The Quest before/after school program will be offered on our campus this year for families that need to drop students off before 8:00 am or need students to remain on campus after 4:00 pm. Registration information can be found here.

5th Grade Expedition 2026

* This camp is for 5th graders who live in the Martinez community/feeder pattern and will be coming to our comprehensive campus. Families will drop off and pick up at the rear of the school. This is a student-only event. Wear closed-toed shoes, and bring a water bottle. Attendance is not required; however, we’d love to meet as many new Navigators as we can, so we hope you can join us.
