AMI 2023-2024 Back-to-School Information

Back to school information for Alma Martinez Intermediate School has been set for the upcoming school term. Please refer to the sections below for the latest information. Updates will be made as needed, so check back often!

• Registration Information

New Student Enrollment for the 2023-24 school term begins online on May 1, 2023. Students who are new to the district must start the enrollment process online. After completing the online portion, you will be contacted to complete any other steps necessary. 

Returning Student Enrollment for the 2023-24 school term begins in July 2023. An email will be sent to current families when enrollment officially opens.

• Proof of Residency

Proof of residency (POR) is now being accepted for the 2023-2024 school year. All students are required to provide proof of residence (POR). Failure to provide the necessary documentation may result in enrollment delays or withdrawal from school.

You may take your proof of residence to your student’s 2023-2024 campus office; or
You may email your proof of residence with your student’s first & last name and student ID number to your student’s 2023-2024 campus at: Martinez_POR@misdmail.org. Satisfactory proof of residence includes: Electric, Gas, or Water Bill – with May service dates or later.

• Class Schedules

Class schedules can be picked up at Schedule Pick Up. 

5th Grade Schedule Pick-Up (STEM, Fine Arts Academy & Comprehensive): August 10th 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. 
6th Grade Schedule Pick-Up (STEM, Fine Arts Academy & Comprehensive): August 14th 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Schedule Pick-Up is a come and go in the main office. As long as you have completed returning or new student registration and provided your proof of residency you can stop by the main office and pick up your child's class schedule at the time that's most convenient for you. 

If you are unavailable to attend Schedule Pick Up, schedules will be available on Skyward the evening of Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2023. 

• Meet the Teacher Night

We will have a Meet the Teacher event for Navigator families on Thursday, Aug. 31st from 5:30-7:00 pm. 

• 2023-2024 School Supply List

• Bus Transportation

Bus routes for the 2023-2024 school year have been established and can be located here. 

• Quest

The Quest before/after school program will be offered on our campus this year for families that need to drop students off before 8:00 am or need students to remain on campus after 4:00 pm. Registration information can be found here.

• STEM Academy Exploration 2023

* This camp is for 5th & 6th grade designers new to AMI STEM Academy. Families will drop off and pick up at the rear of the school. Wear closed toed shoes, and bring a water bottle.
